As of September 17, 2012, 844 groups
organized as Super PACS have reported total receipts of $349,463,757 and total
independent expenditures of $242,857,510 in the 2012 cycle. Romney's
biggest supported is a group called " Restore our Future" who
has raised $82,491,407 for his candidacy. Likewise, Obama's biggest
supporter is Priorities USA Action who has raised $27,235,018 for his
candidacy.

have spent $228,363,178 in the 2012 election so far. The pro-Romney super PAC
Restore Our Future and the Karl Rove-founded American Crossroads are both major
contributor for the rRpublicans. Priorities USA Action and House Majority are
both major contributing super PACs for Democrats.
